Founded in 1475 in the Haute-Saône region, La Rochère has successfully balanced centuries-old craftsmanship with modern manufacturing. Having weathered fires, wars, changes in ownership and the evolution of the industry, the company has remained firmly rooted in its artisanal heritage. Today, traditional mouth-blown crystal is still crafted by four master glassmakers who shape molten glass entirely by hand—a remarkable continuation of a craft that once employed more than 200 artisans. The factory also welcomes more than 60,000 visitors each year, making it the most visited industrial site in the Haute-Saône region.
